May 2025 — What I've Been Up To
Two months of GoReview, BINGO projects, SOP building, and classic shiny object syndrome. An honest update.
Updated: 21 May 2025
Here’s what I’ve been working on the past two months.
GoReview Platform
Been heads-down building out the GoReview platform — creating workflows, onboarding processes, pricing pages, lead gen forms, and automation sequences. Also put together a pitch deck and explored different CRM options to streamline everything.
BINGO Website Projects
Regularly updating websites for clients:
- Borneo Adjusters
- Langkah Syabas
- Sabah Holidays
- Hello Sabah
- Anjur Canggih
- New BINGO site
- GoReview site
Lots of deliverables — website outlines, offer docs, case studies.
SOP Library
Massive focus on creating SOPs. Documenting everything from client processes to internal workflows. This should pay off big time for team training and consistent delivery.
Family Life
Mornings and evenings filled with kid stuff — school pickups, activities, playground time. Celebrated my kid’s 10th birthday. Grocery runs eating up time as always.
Energy & Recovery
Hit the wall a few times with late nights and project overload. Taking short naps when needed. Actually scheduling recovery days when I’m completely zonked.
Tool Exploration
Testing Swipe One, Pabbly Connect, and various AI tools. Excited about several automations I’ve built that are genuinely saving me time.
The Honest Part
Classic shiny object syndrome hitting hard. Bouncing between too many projects and feeling scattered. Need to get better at single-tasking and finishing what I start.
Created a “later” list to park ideas — helps clear mental capacity.
Examples of things parked: starting a YouTube channel, LinkedIn outreach, newsletter (yes, the irony is not lost on me).
Wins
Hired 2 new team members for the agency side. Filtered 45+ video interviews and almost 200 written applications. Have a filter process now, thankfully.
If any of this resonates — the scattered feeling, the building-too-many-things feeling — you’re not alone. Subscribe and I’ll keep documenting it.
